Belfast City Council has confirmed that over the Christmas and New Year period, there will be some changes to bin and box collections
Collection arrangements for general waste bins, recycling bins, compost bins, glass box collections and wheelie boxes may be different, depending on the area. The council has asked that households leave their bins and boxes out by 7am.
Christmas bin collection arrangements:

Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day) | Sunday, December 28 |
Thursday, December 26 (Boxing Day) | Sunday, December 29 |
Tuesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) | Collections will take place as normal |
Wednesday, January 1 (New Year's Day) | Saturday, January 4 |
All other collections over the holiday period are unaffected and will be collected on the normal collection day.
Opening across Belfast City Council's recycling centres, will also see some changes across Christmas, and New Year's.

The last entry for recycling centres will be 15 minutes before closing time on the day.
