Liverpool boss Arne Slot has provided an injury update on Conor Bradley after the Northern Ireland international limped out of Wednesday night's Champions League win over Real Madrid.

Bradley earned rave reviews for his performance against the reigning champions as the Reds ran out 2-0 winners at Anfield.

The 21-year-old's tackle on Kylian Mbappe went viral on social media and was celebrated like a goal by the home fans during the game.

But Bradley's night was to end on a sour note as he was forced off with what looked like a hamstring problem.

Speaking after Sunday's 2-0 win over Manchester City Liverpool boss Slot provided an update on both Bradley and Ibrahima Konate, who also picked up an injury against Real.

Unfortunately it looks like both defenders are going to be out of action for a while.

“They will both be out for a few weeks," he told his post-City press conference. I have said many times before, it’s always difficult to judge how many weeks this exactly is because you can think in the beginning it'll be like this and then the end stage of an injury process can always differ a bit. They will not be in the team this week, for sure, both of them."
