Arco teen found safe after being missing for 10 days

ARCO — A missing teen has been found safe after her family reported her disappearance earlier this month when she didn’t come home after church.

According to a Butte County Sheriff’s Office news release, 17-year-old Karli Dickey was found safe at a home in Arco around 3 p.m. Thursday.

The teen had been reported as a missing runaway on Monday, Feb. 10, after she did not come home following being dropped off at a church.

“The Butte County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank all of those who assisted us in our investigation and helped us locate Karli. Thank you to the members of the press who helped us put the information out to the public, and to those who called in tips and provided us with investigative leads which ultimately helped us to locate Karli,” says the release. “Thank you to our wonderful and supportive community and our citizens who make this such a great place to live.”
