Actor Lim Ji-sub will appear in the upcoming Tving original series “Study Group,” his agency Fantagio said Wednesday.

The agency said that Lim has joined Tving's "Study Group" as the character Anti, a member of the fictional Yeonbaek faction.

"Study Group" is a high school action-comedy series following Yoon Ga-min (played by Hwang Min-hyun), a student who dreams of excelling academically but is only skilled in fighting. As he dives into the intense world of academic competition, he forms a study group with his peers.

Lim takes on the role of Anti, a character who was once an innocent and ordinary student but later reveals his ruthless side after joining the Yeonbaek faction. Lim is expected to deliver a powerful performance with intense action scenes.

The actor has previously appeared in dramas such as “Love Revolution” and “Wonderful World” as well as films like “3.5th Period” (2021) and “The Eighth Sense” (2023). He also showcased his stage musical talents in the Korean adaptation of “Dear Evan Hansen,” playing Connor Murphy.

“Study Group” will premiere exclusively on Tving on Thursday.
