TETON VILLAGE, Wyoming – Jackson Hole Mountain Resort confirms the death of an 81-year-old male skier Saturday following a fall on the Sun Dog ski trail.
At 9:13 a.m., Jackson Hole Ski Patrol was notified of an unconscious skier on Sun Dog who had been skiing alone. No other individuals were involved in the accident.
JHSP responded immediately, arriving on the scene at 9:15 a.m. The patient was taken to the St. John’s Clinic in Teton Village at 9:30 a.m. and was subsequently transferred to St. John’s Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
