The Late Late Show pulled from schedule next week in Easter shake-up

The Late Late Show won't air next week in a schedule shake-up.

The popular chat show, hosted by Patrick Kielty, usually graces our screens every Friday night at 9.35pm.

However, next week viewers will have to find an alternative as the Co Down presenter takes a break to coincide with the Easter Holidays.

Due to Good Friday falling on April 18th, RTÉ One is making slight adjustments to its schedule. The show will make its return the following week, April 25th, in its usual time slot.

In place of the Late Late, sports drama film Air, featuring Matt Damon and Viola Davis, will fill the 9.35pm slot, reports RSVP Live.

On tonight's Late Late Show, Patrick conducted an in-depth interview with Amanda Knox, discussing her journey to reclaim her life and name a decade after being fully acquitted of the murder of her flatmate Meredith Kercher.

Professional dancer and TV personality Bruno Tonioli also joined Patrick to discuss his career as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars USA and Britain's Got Talent, as well as his enduring friendship with the late Len Goodwin.

Legendary Irish footballers Johnny Giles and Liam Brady engaged in a discussion about their illustrious careers, while comedian and presenter Dermot Whelan was on hand to promote his new book, Busy and Wrecked.

In anticipation of their sold-out concerts across Ireland this summer, Amble gave a performance of their brand new single Swan Song.
