Lambeg Road Lisburn 'closed for some time' after crash

Police have shared an image of the scene of a crash in Lisburn on Sunday evening.

Road uses have been advised that the Lambeg Road in Lisburn has closed in both directions on March 30 after a road traffic collision.

Police Lisburn and Castlereagh have shared on social media that the road is expected to remain "closed for some time" and that motorists should avoid the area if possible.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service also attended the scene.

A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "The Lambeg Road in Lisburn is closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision this evening, Sunday 30 th March.

"Diversions are in place at the junctions with Bells Lane and River Road.

"Motorists should seek alternative routes for their journey."
