During Tuesday's episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd inadvertently revealed details about his upcoming nuptials.
The 37-year-old actor, who portrays David Platt on the popular soap opera, is engaged to his partner Hanni Treweek, who has been showing her support while he participates in the ITV show.
When fellow housemate Danny Beard inquired about Jack's marital status, asking, "Are you married, love?", Jack responded with a brief, "No, July!" Ella Rae Wise excitedly chimed in, saying, "You're getting married in July? Ooh!".
Danny, intrigued, pressed Jack for more details about the wedding, specifically inquiring about the entertainment and food.
Jack candidly admitted, "Food costs a f**king fortune!" This led Danny to jest, "You want a good scran" while Donna Preston playfully suggested, "Just get Greggs to sponsor you babe!".
Jack retorted, "They won't, no one's a**ed, no one's interested!" His housemates teasingly urged him to reach out on Instagram, reports OK!
This conversation took place on the same evening as the show's second eviction, in which Trisha Goddard, 67, was voted out of the house. The night prior, the housemates had nominated two of their peers for potential eviction.
Jack, along with Patsy Palmer and Trisha, faced the mercy of the viewers' votes during the live eviction on Tuesday. Jack found himself on the receiving end of four nominations from Angellica Bell, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, and Trisha herself.
Whereas Patsy was nominated six times by a mix of housemates including Angellica, Chesney Hawkes, Chris Hughes, Danny, JoJo Siwa, and Trisha. At the same time, Trisha got four nominations from Chesney, Chris, Ella Rae Wise, and Patsy.
In the live eviction episode on Tuesday, the decision came that Trisha would be leaving the show. Speaking with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best she confessed to being "kinda sad", adding she was feeling "a bit sad".
Trisha, who is battling stage four breast cancer which is treatable but incurable, is under the care of a palliative team, having undergone significant treatment just prior to joining the house.
This follows the recent exit of Mickey Rourke from the Celebrity Big Brother house due to his “further use of inappropriate language" and “instances of unacceptable behaviour”.
Mickey had previously been warned formally by Big Brother for using "unacceptable language and behaviour" directed at fellow contestant JoJo.
On the Friday episode, the reality show saw its first eviction, with Michael Fabricant being voted out.
CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER CONTINUES TONIGHT AT 9PM ON ITV1, ITVX, STV AND STV PLAYER.
