Once a bald, scared, and underweight stray, Bobby’s life took a dramatic turn when he was rescued by Reto and his team at Furry Luck Bali Ev Animal Protection Organization. Now, he proudly sports a beautiful blonde coat.
Bobby was found on the streets of Bali, looking like he had been through a lot. He was so afraid of people that he would bite if anyone tried to touch him. But with the right love and care, he slowly transformed into a happy and goofy dog.
Today, Bobby is fully recovered and ready to find a forever home filled with love. His story shows how rescue organizations can truly change the lives of animals in need.
Reto shared how they built Bobby’s trust despite his fear and aggression. “Bobby was very focused on food, so we used it to our advantage. We started by feeding him from our hands and gradually gained his trust. Sometimes we just sat quietly for a while, letting him decide if he wanted to approach us,” Reto explained.
Bobby’s Heartwarming Transformation
When Bobby was found by his rescuer in Bali, he was completely unrecognizable.
Bobby was in a terrible state when found, suffering from scabies, a fungal infection, blood parasites, and anemia. He was hairless, scared, and infested with parasites.
“Bobby needed a month of medication,” said Reto, his rescuer.
We were curious about how Bobby’s treatment helped transform his hairless coat into beautiful, fluffy blonde fur.
Reto explained, “We gave him Bravecto, medication for fungal infections, and a medicinal bath once a week.”
It took Bobby three weeks to trust his rescuers and two months for his fur to grow back.
Bobby’s Transformation: From Fearful to Friendly
Now, Bobby is a completely different dog—loving, friendly, and super happy.
Reto shared Bobby’s future needs with us: “We want to find him a family that will take good care of him and give him time and attention. With his long, thick fur, Bobby needs a lot of grooming. We’re searching for the perfect home with a garden where he can play and get plenty of attention.”
Bobby enjoys being around other dogs and loves to play, but he knows when to take a break and is one of the least likely to fight.
