The Danish blonde, 26, was one of the favourites to win at the Wimbledon centre court before crashing out to Coco Vandeweghe in fourth round. Her impressive performances, along with her effortless supermodel looks, have won her an army of fans on and off the court. With her slim, athletic figure, you’d be forgiven for thinking the former world number one has a strict dieting regime.
But in an interview with CelebsNow, Wozniacki admitted she has a bit of a sweet tooth. She said: “I love candy and chocolate. My main meals are always healthy but once in a while I like to reward myself with something sweet. I feel like when we work out so much it’s okay to indulge once in a while.”
Nor does Wozniacki count calories, “because the more I think about it the more I want to eat and the worse I eat,” she said. But despite her guilty pleasures, the Wimbledon fifth seed is no slouch potato when it comes to excercise.
She said: “Running is a great workout for me and I feel really good after I’ve come back from a run; it works the full body and in my game as well I need to be able to last for a long time out there. She added: “I try and eat healthy because the fuel is very important for the body.”
Wozniacki took on American Coco Vandeweghe for a place in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon last week. Ahead of the game, a nude photograph of Wozniacki in the body edition of sports channel ESPN emerged. Speaking to ESPN, she said: “It’s so in to have curves now. It’s in to be looking healthy. If I don’t look like a supermodel on the runway, that’s OK because I look good in my own way.”
