Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesighe has advised the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and its National Planning Director to present a complete report with regard to the funds required to restore communal life affected by the disaster situation by June 15.
Meanwhile, an interim report prepared by the CBSL and the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs on the disaster related damages was handed over to Prime Minister’s Secretary, Saman Ekanayake last Friday (2).

The said report has been prepared with the intention of restoring the areas affected by floods and landslides, and the people’s economic activities back to normal.
