Mahamaya Kandy and  Rahula Matara  bagged the championship titles at the  Sir Henry Steel Olcott Memorial Relay Carnival organized by the Old  Boys  union of Dharmaraja  which was held at the Bogambara stadium in the under-12,14,16,18 and 20 categories.
Schools which took part were   Mahamaya, Visaka, Dharmapala, Museaus, Sangamitta, Sujatha, Maliyadewa and Dharmasoka in the girls’ segment while Dharmaraja, Ananda, Nalanda, Dharmapala, Maliyadewa, Rahula, Dharmasoka and Mahinda contest the boys’ category.

Boys:
Overall winners: Rahula, runner-up Dharmaraja followed by Dharmapala, Maliyadewa, Nalanda and Mahinda.
Final results:
Under-12 winners Rahula, runner-up Dharmaraja, Under-14 winners Dharmapala/Rahula, runner-up Dharmaraja
Under-16 winners Dharmapala, runner-up Dharmaraja
Under-18 winners: Rahula, runner-up Mahinda Under-20 winners Maliyadeva runner-up Nalanda.
Girls’ champions:  Mahamaya, runner-up Dharmapala followed by Sujatha Matara and Maliyadeva.
Under-12 winners Dharmapala, runner-up Mahamaya
Under 14 champions Maliyadeva/Sujatha, runner-up Dharmapala
Under-16 champions Dharmapala runner-up Mahamaya
Under-18 champions Mahamaya runner-up Dharmapala
Under-20 champions Mahamaya, runner-up Sujatha.
It was a well organized meet and a big hand should go to Chandana Ekanayake the chief organizer and the coordinators Udaya Yatawara, SB Hearth, S. Tennakoon.
The opening ceremony was graced by Maj. Gen. Nirmala Dharmaratne  and the closing ceremony by Prisons Commissioner Gamini Jayasinghe, both old boys of Dharmaraja College.
