Sri Lanka will be desperate to stop Bangladesh from winning the ODI series which culminates today at the SSC Grounds in Colombo.

Moving into the decider after winning the first game and then seeing the second match washed out by rain, Bangladesh seem to be pumped up and ready to win a series in Sri Lanka for the first time.

They have already drawn the Test series 1-1.
Before the start of the ODI series, Sri Lanka were not expected to fall behind which now means the home team are under intense pressure to win the decider and draw the series.

Sri Lanka’s main concern has been the inconsistency in the batting and a bowling line-up that has very little potential to bowl a side out and Bangladesh has now got into a groove where they could take on any of the best bowling attacks in the world.

“I think we will do well against Sri Lanka. They are a very strong team at home. I can’t remember a time when they didn’t win a single game in a series, so it is a good position we are in. We are 1-0 up so we can’t lose the series. They have to play well, and we have to play our best game to come good,” said Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusinghe.
