The annual Sports Fiesta and Family Day of the old boys of St. Sebastian’s College in Moratuwa was held on January 8 at the College premises.

This sporting event was not only organized to build a platform to showcase the talents of all Sebastianites but also to have a fun-filled day for their entire families. Further, the main purpose of the event has been to strengthen and improve the brotherhood among old Sebastianites and their families.

Old boys and their family members competed and participated in a wide variety of sporting and other fun events such as cricket, basketball, athletics, tennis, badminton, swimming, soapy football, bungee run, bull ride, trampoline, bouncy castles and arcade games.

All sporting events were provided with trophies, medals and prizes.

The chief guests were Flavian Aponso, former Sri Lanka cricketer and Rev. Fr. Ranjith Andradi, Rector of the College. The main organizer of the event was the Batch of 2012 which is identified as the most energetic batch of the college OBA headed by the project chairman Ishara Shaveen Peiris.
