Upul Tharanga

Seasoned campaigner Upul Tharanga has been picked to captain Sri Lanka in the five-match ODI series against South Africa, starting on Saturday in Port Elizabeth.
Tharanga (31) has featured in 193 ODIs for Sri Lanka and comes in to replace injured skipper Angelo Mathews who returned home from South Africa with a hamstring injury.
Tharanga has scored 5,621 runs in his ODI career with a top score of 174 to go with 13 centuries and 30 half centuries.
