The story of the Lebanese designer Elie Saab began with his passion for knitting, that brought him to the catwalks and red carpets. Elie Saab was born in Lebanon on July 4, 1964; since he was a child, he had a passion for knitting and fashion. He started creating dresses for his sisters, and in 1982, when he was 18, he opened up his first shop in his hometown, starting to get noticed by ladies living in his neighborhood. In 2000 he appeared for the first time at the Paris fashion shows. Since then he has been a protagonist of the catwalks, presenting four collections per year.
