We have new information about the 2018 Nissan Qashqai, the model is expected to reach the market in the later part of 2018 and will be one of the most highly anticipated in the SUV market. The third generation of the successful SUV will also have Nissan’s ProPILOT autonomous technology for an added $2000.

The 2018 Nissan Qashqai is now starting its production at the Nissan’s factory in Sunderland, United Kingdom but it was rumoured that Nissan, concerned about the Brexit, could shift production of the new Nissan Qashqai to another factory brand, perhaps in Barcelona.

The 2018 Nissan Qashqai will replace the model that the brand introduced three years ago and will come with important developments, especially with regard to the technology section. According to reports from AutoExpress, this model may optionally include the first version of the system PROPILOT and Traffic Jam Pilot autonomous driving. Citing as its source is Takashi Shirakawa, vice president of the European Technical Center.

The first version of ProPILOT, Traffic Jam Pilot, is to be featured in the 2018 Nissan Qashqai, and will be able to control the car’s acceleration, braking and steering in single lane traffic and highway use. This technology will also allow the model to drive alone in situations of very heavy traffic and seek to eliminate the restlessness behind the wheel in heavy traffic times.
