October 7 witnessed three variety of films, a romantic comedy Remo, an action-packed entertainer Rekka and a horror comedy Devi releasing together.

Talking about Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo, Meenakshi Sundaram, theatre manager, Mayajaal said, “Though the film has a wafer-thin storyline, Sivakarthikeyan has managed to hold the audience like top stars, whose movies do not have experimental stories but manages to pull the audience to theatres. The collections and booking response is steady for the next four days too. Family audiences are enjoying the film.”

With regards to Makkal Selvan’s Rekka, he said, “Response has been average. We need to wait for weekday to decide on the verdict. Limited shows had a good response over the weekend, and we couldn’t increase show counts as Remo’s advance booking was full. From October 10, we have increased the number of shows after the positive word of mouth,” signs off Meenakshi Sundaram, after talking about  Devi’s opening.
