Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake will attend the 2016 Commonwealth Finance Ministers Meeting in Washington, USA today.

The meeting would see the participation of Finance Ministers from several countries around the world at the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund.

This year’s meeting would focus on topical issues arising from the international response to the Panama Papers as well as practical action to enhance Commonwealth access to climate finance and new financial instruments to help countries manage climatic shocks.
