President Maithripala Sirisena left the island on a four day official visit to Thailand this morning, reports said.
The President will attend the second Asia Cooperation Dialogue to be held in Bangkok from tomorrow.
The Asia Cooperation Dialogue was inaugurated in 2002 with the aim of consolidating strengths and competitiveness by maximizing the diversity and rich resources evident in Asia.
President Sirisena is also expected to hold bilateral discussion with the Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-Cha. The President will return to the island on Tuesday (11).
