Canines unleashed their whimsical antics at ‘Unleash’ carnival for dogs, organized by the Ceylon Kennel Club last week at the Hyde Park Grounds. Between 60 to 70 dogs took part in the carnival, meant for dogs and their owners. It comprised a fancy-dress show, a fun- agility course that consisted of tunnels and jumps, pooch vs kid agility contest, 40 yard dash and hand-me-down hound.
The event was conceptualized and conducted by Shirin Merchant, a pioneer in the field of canine bahaviour and training in India. The main objective behind the event was to create a fun-filled atmosphere for dogs of all breeds and their owners.
