Bollywood’s desi girl turned ‘videshi superstar’ Priyanka Chopra, became the first Indian celebrity to go live from the Twitter headquarters in New York. The actress, who has always had a pre-requisite of being the first person to do things, made her way down the Twitter hallways which had recently played host to US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Priyanka is currently in New York to shoot the second season of her hit American reality television drama Quantico. According to reports, the actress was invited to the headquarters back in 2010, when she was the highest followed Bollywood celebrity, a position that is now held by Amitabh Bachchan. PC sat down for a chat with Rishi Jaitly, vice president, Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa, Twitter, which was broadcast live.

At the interview, Priyanka spoke about a range of things from her first tweet from 2009 which read, “1,2,3, testing,” to talking about ‘Quantico’, her badass bombshell role in ‘Baywatch’, Independence Day and what it meant to her, and much, much, more. The actress also squeezed in time to answer questions thrown at her from her fans.
