The Government yesterday said that the the proposed Economic and Technology Cooperative Agreement or ETCA would be tabled in Parliament.

Addressing a media conference, Minister of Special Assignment, Dr. Sarath Amunugama said the ETCA would not have any adverse impact on Sri Lanka, but added that the government would examine the pros and cons of the agreement.

Dr. Amunugama also said the agreement did not contain any article which allowed Indians coming to the country and taking over jobs of Sri Lankans.
