The final report of the Presidential Commission to Investigate into Complaints Regarding Missing Persons is scheduled to be handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena today.
The mandate of the commission, headed by Retired High Court Judge Maxwell Paranagama concluded on July 15.
The final report will contain complaints and deliberation carried out by the commission.
The Paranagama had said that the commission had received nearly 19,000 complaints out of which many were not investigated.
It is also reported that the remaining complaints would be forwarded to the Office on Missing Persons.
