The 26th edition of the Facets Gem and Jewellery show will be held at BMICH from September 1 to 4. The exhibition would focus on the Ceylon Sapphires, the primary resource of the gem industry. It is organized by the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association, National Gem and Jewellery Authority and Sri Lanka Export Development Board. It is directed towards strengthening and promoting the developments in the industry by promoting the sale of gemstones and Jewellery to overseas markets in order to attract international buyers to Sri Lanka.

This edition boasts two brand new features with a Premier Jewellery Pavilion which would feature fine craftsmanship’s from six local jewelers including Careems, Chatham, Colombo Jewellery Stores, Lalitha Jewellers, Natural Sapphires and Sifani. The display will include a variety of magnificent gem stones and elaborate designs by local artisans. There would also be a range of exclusive watches on display, from high end international brands.

Over 200 local and foreign exhibitors including gem dealers, lapidarists, exporters, wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers as well as machinery, tools, equipment, machinery, laboratory and certification services, and educational and training services would be featured at the exhibition.
