The FRENCH SPRING FESTIVAL is a major multi-disciplinary festival, celebrating arts and culture organized by the Embassy of France, the Alliance Française de Kotte in Colombo and the Alliance Française network in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka, the Galle Face Hotel and many others sponsors.

The fifth edition of the French Spring Festival will showcase a variety of events. Visual arts, cinema, and musical rhythms ranging from gipsy jazz to contemporary songs which contributed to strengthen the ties between European and South Asian cultures, offering a platform for free expression of the artistes, as well as a range of outstanding cultural explorations and discoveries.

In view of the fifth French Spring Festival currently underway, French Rendez-vous in Sri Lanka, the organizing committee organized cocktails in the presence of French Ambassador to Sri Lanka Jean-Marin Schuh at the Galle Face Hotel Chequerboard on July 21.
