Helitha Hendawitharana of Royal College, Dilani Perera of Visakha Vidyalaya, and Sanaya Buddhadasa of Visakha Vidyalaya, won two titles each and were adjudged the best players at the Western Province Junior Ranking Table Tennis Championship held at S. Thomas’ Indoor Sports Complex, Mt. Lavinia recently.

The tournament was organised by the 82nd OBA batch of St. John’s College, Nugegoda in celebration of the 101st anniversary of St. John’s College, Nugegoda.

Only players from the Western Province were permitted to participate and a total of 325 players turned up.

The chief guest was Maithreepala Liyanarachchi, the Principal of St John’s College, Nugegoda.
