State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Tore Hattrem, is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka for a three day visit today.

During his stay, Hattrem will meet several Government Ministers, members of the opposition and other key officials. He will meet Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera today (31). The discussions are expected to be focus on the developments after the visit of Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende in January this year.

Hattrem will also meet the Leader of Opposition R. Sampanthan, Minister for Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, Minister for Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage Rauff Hakeem, and the Secretary General of the Secretariat for Reconciliation Mechanisms Mano Tittawella.

He is scheduled to visit Jaffna on tomorrow (1) where he will meet the Governor of the Northern Province Reginald Cooray and Chief Minister Justice C.V. Wigneswaran.
