The decision to ban Eastern Province Chief Minister, Nazeer Ahamed from entering camps of the tri-forces has been revoked, reports said.
Army Spokesperson, Brig. Jayanath Jayaweera had reportedly said that Ahamed would be allowed to visit the camps with effect from May 29.
The tri-forces had earlier banned the Chief Minister from entering their camps and had also decided not to attend functions attended by him.
The decision was taken following the incident where Ahamed had verbally abused a Navy officer in public during an event held in Sampur last week.
