Avery Dennison Lanka (Pvt) Ltd in collaboration with Avery Dennison foundation has initiated a two year scholarship program with the intention of being a helping hand to the school children of low income families. Vihara Mahadevi  Vidyalaya, a well-known girl’s school in Kiribathgoda was privileged to be selected as the first beneficiary school in this noble project. The scholarship programme will support 10 students from low income households, to pay for their education for a period of two years. This will enable them to continue their school education until they sit for the G.C. E (A/L) Examination (University entrance examination). Out of the total grant amount of USD 10,000, each student will receive Rs. 5000 per month for a period of two years.
