The Public Representations Committee on Constitutional Reforms (PRCCR) will be handing over their 300 page report to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on May 10.
Chairman of the PRCCR, Attorney-at-Law Lal Wijenayake said that they would also be handing over the report, which contained 200 pages of the report compiled by the Committee and another 100 pages of annexures, to President Maithripala Sirisena and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
The report on grievances reported by the public would be compiled and handed over by the end of the month, he added.
“The report is in the last stages of completion. It is being edited now. We have given our recommendations. On one or two key points there are differing views. The report will initially be in English and will be handed over to Wickremesinghe first as he is the Chairman of the Steering Committee on constitutional reforms,” he mentioned.
