Swedish Cars, an IWS Holdings company, which recently became the importer and distributor of Volvo cars in Sri Lanka, will soon launch a line of luxury cars displaying Volvo’s stylish transformation and its first interpretation of a new brand direction, where design has an elevated strategic importance to the Volvo brand.

The all-new XC90 model, which will be officially launched in the country in August this year, is the first car to be built on the Volvo company’s brand new, in-house developed Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), and the first Volvo production model to carry the company’s new design language, which has been successfully showcased in the critically-acclaimed Volvo Concept Coupé and the Volvo Concept XC Coupé.

The all new XC90 is already available in Sri Lanka for pre-order. There are three 7 seat variants to choose from, with a four-cylinder supercharged and turbocharged petrol engine, a four-cylinder twin turbo diesel engine or a four-cylinder supercharged and turbocharged twin engine plug-in hybrid with up to 400 horse power.
