The Overall champions, the Kitchen team with Cinnamon Grand Resident Manager Chris Quyn

Cinnamon Grand held its inter-departmental Swimming Meet on Saturday April 23 at the Thurstan pool, with the participation of over 50 swimming enthusiasts from different departments of the hotel. Hotel’s Kitchen team took home the overall championship clinching 12 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals. Finance, and Sales and Marketing teams came in as first and second runners up. Kitchen’s Amanda Rodrigo and Nicole De Silva emerged Overall Champions in the Under 25 women and men category respectively. Finance’s LahiruJeewantha was the champion for overall 25-34 years category while Roshan Bandaranaike was the overall champion for men 35-44 years category. Security’s R.M.B. Rathnayake won the championship trophy for men 45 years+.
The fun-filled day was organised to give the talented swimmers of the dynamic Grand team an opportunity to shine.
