For the tenth consecutive year, Singer was chosen as Sri Lanka’s favourite brand at the latest edition of the SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards held at the Waters Edge recently.
In a highly-successful night for the country’s leading consumer durable retailer, Singer was able to win “Youth Brand of the Year”, “Consumer Durables – Brand of the Year” and rounded off the night by winning the coveted “People’s Brand of the Year” – the highest award for a brand in the country.
‘SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards’ is the hallmark award show of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and recognises brands and personalities that have made a significant impression in the minds of the people of the island. The event is one of the most anticipated marketing events in Sri Lanka’s business calendar as both the nominees and winners are selected by the voice of the people, through a comprehensive island-wide research conducted by Nielsen Sri Lanka – one of the largest information and research companies in the world providing market research expertise.
