The Public Representations Committee on Constitutional Reforms will be meeting selected individuals that the Committee wants to seek representations and views from, commencing March 6.
Chairman of the Public Representations Committee on Constitutional Reforms, Attorney-at-Law Lal Wijenayake said that the Committee had completed all sessions to be held at the District level.
Due to the special demand, the Committee will be in Colombo on March 03, March 04 and March 05, he added.
Due to the democratic system that prevails now, a lot of people including public servants came and expressed views, he noted.
“Every District, we spent two days. After the final sitting in Colombo, we will meet certain persons we want to meet like those from social organizations including ones representing human rights, and elsewhere religious leaders and Chief Ministers,” he remarked.
