Mayonnaise is rich in proteins needed to restore shine to dry and damaged hair. Take one cup of full fat Mayonnaise. Wet your hair lightly and apply a thick layer of mayonnaise to cover your hair and scalp. Massage Mayonnaise gently into your scalp and work on your hair from scalp to the tips. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave on for 60 minutes. Then, rinse your hair and shampoo. Repeat once a week for beautiful soft locks.
This is a wonderful remedy for dry and damaged hair. Wet your hair and apply small amounts of coconut oil until your hair is thoroughly covered. Massage for few mins in circular motion. Wrap in a warm towel for 30 minutes. Then, shampoo your hair. Carry this out for two or three times a week for best results.
Beetroot, gingelly oil and lime
Gingelly oil is rich in nutrients needed to combat dryness. Peel a small beetroot, chop into small pieces and blend to extract juice. Avocado and egg
Take one ripe avocado, remove the pit and mash it. Then add an egg into this and mix well. Apply on dry hair, leave on for 20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. It might take several washes to remove the mixture from your hair. Avocadoes are rich in vitamins and minerals needed to restore luster to your hair. Egg would add protein needed to maintain health.
