Humanity has not realised this vital role and has ignored and neglected it to a point of grievous fault. The consequences of such negligence are immeasurable. Humanity is torn apart into divisions and demarcations.
Swami Parthasarathy, the internationally eminent philosopher has done extensive research on Vedanta, the eternal principles that guide human behaviour and life. Based on his research he has developed a systematic course of study that helps revive the human intellect. This is being taught through a three-year residential programme at the Vedanta Academy, Pune near Mumbai India.
Sunandaji the daughter disciple of Swami Parthasarathy has been doing study and research in Vedanta under Swami Parthasarathy’s guidance for the past three decades. She has also been conducting seminars and delivering lectures on this subject to the international audience. This year Sunandaji will be holding a lecture series in Colombo at the Buddhist Cultural Centre, Havelock Road – Thummulla junction from February 28 to March 2. The topic will be ‘Faith—the essential component for success and peace’. This will be based on the seventeenth chapter of Bhagavad Gita. Participation is free for everyone who is interested.
