Asia’s largest motor show, the Indian Auto Expo is all set to bring a lot of activity in the capital with loads of new products and other surprises for the auto enthusiasts. Almost 80 new vehicles will be introduced and around 1500 suppliers from 20 countries will be participating in the event. Compact SUVs is currently one of the most liked segments in the country and is growing at a blistering pace. We have summed up the top 5 upcoming SUVs to be showcased in the Auto Expo to be held from 4-7 February.

1) Maruti Vitara Brezza
The compact SUV, Vitara Brezza codenamed YBA, will carry the 1.2L K-Series VVT petrol and 1.3L DDiS diesel mills. Though, the transmission will be a 5-speed manual gearbox; Maruti might offer an optional four-speed AMT unit.


2) Hyundai Sub-Compact SUV
The manufacturer will bring a sub-4 meter SUV, the new Tucson SUV and the Santa-Fe facelift in India. Engine options for the sub-4 meter SUV will be the 1.4L and the 1.6L motors, whereas, Tucson is likely to be offered in both the diesel and petrol mills that include a 2.0L CRDi and a 1.7L CRDi Blue Drive motors.
Santa-Fe will be powered by a 2.2L CRDi diesel and a 2.4L petrol mill.


3) Honda BR-V
Honda BR-V, the compact SUV will sport a 1.5L
i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine. Both the engine options will carry a 6-speed manual but the petrol mill would also have an option of CVT automatic.


4) Datsun GO-Cross
This flagship product of the Datsun is based on the GO+ MPV and will borrow an identical 1.2L petrol engine coupled with the 5-speed gearbox. Besides this, an entry level small car, the Redi-GO hatchback would also be showcased.


5) Tata Nexon
The car is a slightly reworked version of the Bolt and Zest. The vehicle will be energized by the 1.2L turbocharged petrol and 1.3L diesel units.
