Captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team, Angelo Mathews, manager Jeryl Woutersz and chief selector Kapila Wijegunawardane are likely to be called for explanations by Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara over allegations of inappropriate behavior by players during the recently concluded New Zealand tour, foreign media reports said.

Jayasekara had reportedly told foreign media that he intended to call the three persons for a meeting to provide their explanations over allegations that the cricketers had been partying overnight just before the matches.

He had reportedly claimed that he had received photographic evidence to suggest that players had attended late night parties before the matches.

Sri Lanka had a dismal tour of New Zealand which ended last week where it lost the test, ODI and T-20 series.
