Yamaha Marine and the Lanka Powerboat Association held a joint exhibition of products at Crescat Boulevard recently. On display were high-powered racing crafts, Yamaha WaveRunner personal water crafts as well as exciting powerboats ranging from 2-man P750s to the super powered Formula-4 boats capable of 240km per hour with the impact of 4G on a turn (G-Force) on a turn powered by Yamaha Outboard Motor Engines. Watch out for the Grand Prix Aquabike event coming soon in 2016 in which Yamaha will be playing a key role.

Speaking on the promotional activity President, Lanka Powerboat Association Prassanna Ranaweera said: “Yamaha’s continued commitment to water sports in Sri Lanka is a boon for the development of the field. Yamaha water sports crafts, Outboard Motors and WaveRunners are sold and marketed in Sri Lanka by Associated Motorways (Pvt) Ltd, and includes berthing facilities, as well as comprehensive service and parts replacement.
