Come December holidays young golfers will get the opportunity to contest the much looked forward to Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2015 which will be worked off from December 15-17 at the Ridgeways course in Colombo.

Stiff competition can be expected this year amongst a number of top junior golfers whose ages range between 18 to 10 years.

This championship, sponsored by Prima Sunrise Bread for the eighth consecutive year, aims at developing junior talent locally.

The golfers will participate in four age group categories such as the Gold division, for those between 15 and 17 years, Silver division, for those between 12 and 14 years, the Bronze division, for those between 10 and 11 years and the Copper division for those under 9 years.

The overall winner will be declared the Sri Lanka Junior National Golf champion.
