A keen tussle for supremacy is expected when the 69th Table Tennis National Championships begin on November 21 at the S.Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia Gymnasium.

According to Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka (TTASL) President Rajiva Wijethunga the country’s top table tennis players are expected to contest the two day tournament which will conclude on November 22 (Sunday) with the finals scheduled for 6pm.

Udaya Ranasinghe, Rohan Sirisena, Nirmala Jayasinghe and Chalitha Ranjana will vie for honors in the men’s singles event.

Ishara Madurangi, Erandi Warusathivatha, Chamatara Fernando and Ruvini Kannangara will fight it for honors in the women’s singles.

The tournament is conducted by the TTASL. (RN)
