Sri Lanka’s twelve month treasury bill yields plunged by 1 basis point (bps) from 6.94% to 6.93% at today’s Treasury bill auction while the six months yields remained unchanged at 6.50%.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) offered Rs. 15 billion worth of Treasury bills today and the auction was oversubscribed by 5.6 times with bids received amounting to Rs 83.3 billion. The CBSL decided to accept Rs. 12.4 bn worth of bills. Three months treasury bills were not offered by the CBSL.
