The Jaffna International Trade Fair (JITF), scheduled to be held in January next year, will feature Kalvi (Education) Jaffna, a specialized higher education and career guidance pavilion.
The three day exhibition, during the 3 days of this mega trade and consumer show will be held from the 7th consecutive year from the January 29 to 31, 2016 at the Municipal Grounds in Jaffna.
The exhibition which was the first of the kind to be held in the northern region of the country has throughout the years been renowned as the best and most potent platform for the meeting of people and exchange of ideas.
Kalvi Jaffna is considered as Sri Lanka’s most focused higher education and career exhibition in the north.
Over 20,000 students and young adults visited last year’s event during the course of three days. There will be over 40 exhibition stalls displaying and informing the general public of various courses, student programs, higher education options and job opportunities. Specialized colleges, universities and education consultants will be present to share information and discuss opportunities, thus making it a one stop shop for higher education options.
JITF together with Kalvi is organized by the Lanka Exhibition & Conference Services Pvt Ltd (LECS) in association with the Yarlpanam Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCIY) and supported by the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB).
