Dhammika Prasad had West Indies struggling at 77 for four wickets at lunch on the second day of the second Test at the P Sara Oval.

The Sri Lankan opening bowler sent back nightwatchman Devendra Bishoo for 13 edging a catch behind the wicket to Kusal Perera in the fifth over of the day and then picked up the important wicket of Darren Bravo for two when he played onto a lifting delivery.

Seven minutes before lunch Milinda Siriwardana had Marlon Samuels edging a catch to Angelo Mathews at slip with his score on 13.

Kraigg Brathwaite who had watched all the drama unfolding from the other end was unbeaten on 37 scored off 85 balls with Jermaine Blackwood on nought.

West Indies trailed Sri Lanka by 123 runs in the first innings with six wickets in hand. Sri Lanka scored 200.

Prasad went to lunch with figures of 3 for 19 off nine overs.
