Sri Lanka women paddlers spearheaded by former national champion Tamara Hewage won five gold medals at the Australian Masters held at Adelaide from October 3-10.

Tamara won two gold, one silver and one bronze in the 50-64 category (singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team), Udayangani Ariyawansa won three gold in the 30-49 category (singles, doubles, team and mixed) and Ira Ruwanpathirana won a bronze in the 50-64 doubles category.

In the men’s section Mohamed Lafeer won two silvers (singles and doubles) and two bronze (mixed and team) in 50-64 category and Dr GN Lucas won one silver (doubles) and two bronze (singles and team) in the 50-64 category.
