Leading French luxury beauty brand Lancôme was launched in Sri Lanka recently and will be represented by Pee Bee Group.

The brand’s official launch event took place on the invitation of Jerome Georges-Vivien, Zone Director New Markets for Lancôme, together with Hiru Surtani, Director of Pee Bee Group. Guests included Hugues Reydet, Economic Counselor at the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka and Maldives as well as other special invitees.

Pee Bee Group was appointed as the sole agent representing Lancôme in Sri Lanka. Pee Bee Group has been in the local beauty industry for over two decades and currently represents over 50 international luxury brands for fragrance, skincare and cosmetics.
Lancôme products will be available only at Exclusive Lines outlets– located at Crescat Boulevard, Majestic City and Odel – Colombo 7.

Lancôme has embodied the notion of beauty with a definitive French touch for over 80 years. It was founded in 1935 by Armand Petitjean, a French who was born into a family of distillers and thus familiar with the techniques of manufacturing fragrances.
The name Lancôme was, in fact, derived from the term, Le Château de Lancosme, which was an ancient castle in Central France and was inspired to feature the roses nearby in his logo, a media communiqué said.
