Yamaha and Singer, two of the world’s top brand names, have come together in a retail collaboration in Sri Lanka to enhance access to a select range of musical instruments and home theatre systems.

A milestone agreement formalized at a colorful and musical launch in Colombo recently paves the way for Singer Sri Lanka to be designated a ‘Mega Retailer’ for musical instruments and home theatre equipment from Yamaha Music Centre, which has represented the Yamaha brand in Sri Lanka for 93 years.

Consequently, a range of Yamaha portable keyboards, guitars, a recorder and a home theatre system will be available at 16 Singer Mega stores in Sri Lanka, catering to students and music enthusiasts seeking high quality music products.

The launch of the new collaboration which took effect on Thursday, 1st October 2015, was preceded by a training program by two experts from Yamaha Japan for staff of the Singer Mega outlets, and included the unveiling of a new Yamaha display unit that will be featured at these outlets.
