A forum of media personnel has been organized by the Department of Government Information to clarify the recently sponsored resolution on Sri Lanka at Geneva. The Department affirmed the need to demystify various misconceptions about the resolution and its implications for Sri Lanka, and to discuss it at length for the benefit of the public.

The event will be held on October 12, 2015 at 2pm at the Auditorium of the Government Information Department. It has been entitled “After the Geneva Resolution” and will be attended to by the Media Minister and Chief Government Whip Gayantha Karunathilaka, Health Minister Dr Rajitha Senaratne, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Harsha de Silva, and senior Attorney-at-Law J. C. Weliamuna.
