An Audi A3 car will be presented to the golfer who obtains a hole in one at the Audi Quattro Cup golf tournament to be held at the Ridgeways course on 19th September.
A maximum of 210 golfers are expected to participate in this tournament that is to be held for the third time in Sri Lanka. The winning pair will be given the opportunity to represent the country at the world finals to be held at the Cabo Del Sol Ocean Course in Mexico. This tournament will see as many as 100,000 players from over 53 countries participating each year. Sri Lanka will be competing in this prestigious tournament as one of its newest entrants.
The Sri Lanka tournament will be played in pairs with a shot gun start and played in the Stableford points system. The winning pair on the best nett score will be declared the winners followed by the runners-up. There will be no divisions and it will be an Open event where golfers will have to find their own partner.
The winners from Sri Lanka will get the opportunity to play against the best country teams in the world final to be played in Mexico. This luxury destination is famous for its spectacular beaches, luxury spas and getting both warm dessert winds and cooling breezes from the sea.
As an Audi A3 car is offered as a prize to the hole in one player many golfers from the Royal Colombo Golf Club will enter with the hope of winning this car worth 8.5 million rupees.
